June 27th – Pond Tour, Feast, and Plant Auction

The WK & WGS Pond Tour begins on June 27th at 10 a.m. and is open until 1:30 p.m., followed by Doug Hertzog’s famous pulled pork for lunch around 1 p.m., with our Plant Auction to follow at 2 p.m.
Four ponds are on the 2026 tour, all very close together in the Lake Forest Park, Kenmore, and Bothell area, which is why the tour time is shorter this year. All ponds are within 10-15 minutes of each other.

Members will receive via email the recommended route, directions, and descriptions of all four ponds prior to June 27th, so be on the lookout.

The way we are routing our members will have everyone ending up at Doug’s. Your Koi Club will be providing all the edibles. Do BYOB if you want something stronger than water or soft drinks. You might want to throw in a camp chair.

Please bring a plant or plants if you have any to donate for the 2 p.m. Plant Auction. If you have plants you want to divide, just pop them into pots. This is always a lively event!

Club members are encouraged to bring friends and family to this event. If you know you are bringing guests, please call Nancy or leave a voice mail message at 206-949-2402 so that we have plenty of food for everyone. See you on the 27th, rain or shine!
